Printing a Broker List

When you first enter the Broker option a Select A Broker window will appear with the following options:

• EXIT – Select EXIT to exit the Broker option and return to the Sales menu.
• ADD – Select ADD to add a broker.
• PRINT BK LIST - Select PRINT BK LIST to generate a list of brokers.
• PRINT BK CUSTOMER LIST - Select PRINT BK CUSTOMER LIST to generate a report listing brokers and the customers assigned to the broker, along with the customer's contact information and the sales rep assigned to the account.
• PRINT BK COMM LIST - Select PRINT BK COMM LIST to generate a report showing each of the brokers and their commission structure as defined on their broker record.

The following information prints on the BK List (Broker List):

• Broker – The broker ID
• Broker Name/Phone Number(s)/Fax Number – The broker name and contact information
• Commissions – Indicates whether commissions being used: Y=Yes, N=No
• Com Exp Act – The commission expense account and cost center.

The following prints on the BK CUSTOMER LIST (Broker Customer List):

• Cust – The customer ID
• Customer Name – The customer's name
• Phone/Fax – The customer's phone and fax numbers
• SP – The sales rep.

The following prints on the BK COMMISSION LIST (Broker Commissions Levels List):

• Broker – The broker
• Commission Type – The broker commission type
• Exp Acct – The broker commission expense account and cost center
• Method – The broker commission method: pounds (LBS), sales dollars (SLS $), gross profit (GP), or gross margin (GM)
• Apply – Apply progressive commission typeProgressive commission types will calculate commissions according to the scale at each level. (PROG) or retroactive commission typeRetroactive commission types will calculate commissions on all sales at the highest level achieved by the sales rep during the specified accounting period. (RETRO).
• Rate – The commission rate, in dollars or percent
• Cap – For percentage based commission method, the maximum amount per pound for this commission type
• Add Days – The net increase to the commission rate to pay as an incentive for receiving early payments from the customer
• Subtract Days – The net decrease to the commission paid if the customer paid you beyond the number of days specified.
